Dairy
We love our Jersey cows! We chose this breed because they are smaller animals which are better suited to our northern climate. Their milk is also higher in butterfat and protein than other commercial breeds that the larger dairies use. Most importantly, they love a cuddle or head scratch and enjoy being around their people.

Non-Homogenized - perfect in your coffee, or as whipping cream on your favourite dessert
Salted Butter - 454 g
We use hand-harvested sea salt from Vancouver Island Sea Salt.
Produce
Sunnyside Farm grows its produce using a greenhouse, caterpillar tunnel, raised beds and two large garden areas.
Produce varies with the season, but most years you can find varieties of greens, carrots, beets, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchinis, onions, peas, beans, radishes, herbs and flowers. Call or email for a list of what is currently available.

Our eggs:
Sunnyside Farm is home to a small flock of heritage chickens and sells small quantities of fresh eggs directly to local customers.
Our hens enjoy a heated coop that protects them from extreme temperatures and provides them with a mixture of natural and artificial light. There is also a large natural area outdoors where they are protected from predators and can enjoy “doing what chickens do” 🙂
